When a young boy runs away from what he feels is a harsh home life, he finds the world beyond his parents’ door is much darker, pulling him into a life no one should have to face. Shot on location in Memphis before the downtown reformation project began, and featuring original songs by local songwriters, THE RUNAWAY, marks the first of the SP Pictures films, and is an interesting look into what was, and what could be.
